Lawrence "Ray" Ginnings

Lawrence “Ray” Ginnings, 64, formerly of Independence, passed away at his home in Lebanon, MO on Thursday, October 18, 2012. A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Graveside services for immediate family will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Lawrence R. Ginnings memorial fund c/o Metcalf Bank of Independence, MO. Lawrence was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, parents Lawrence (Red Bud) and Ruth Ginnings; daughter Carrie Lynn Ginnings; and sister, Lois Aery. He leaves behind daughter, Tiffany Ginnings of Independence; granddaughter Casey Baker of Independence; three sisters, Sherl L. Parker (Melvin), Teresa L. Adams (Larry), and Linda Rowland, all from Independence; one brother, Charles Gennings of Independence; Martha Ginnings, friend and mother of Tiffany; and many nieces and nephews.
