Darrell Glass

Darrell Lynn Glass, 61, of Independence, MO passed away October 25, 2008 at the Centerpoint Medical Center. Darrell was born August 30, 1947 in Alabama, to Amos and Virgie Glass. In June of 2008, Darrell retired from the City of Independence, where he had worked as a heavy equipment operator, after 19 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Douglas Glass; three sisters, Norma Johansen, Lemerle Penniman and Sarah Gilmore. Darrell is survived by his wife of 20 years, Vicki Glass; one son, Monte Kirksey; one daughter, Wendi Thompson; two grandsons, Jesse and Derry Thompson; and one brother, Larry Glass.
