Gloria June Wescott

Gloria June Wescott, 96 of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Villages of Jackson Creek Memory Care Unit.  A private graveside service and interment will be held in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens in Independence, MO.  Gloria was born June 3, 1927 in Kansas City, Mo to John and Bertie May (Sherry) Muse and has been a long time area resident.  She had worked as a supervisor for the FAA for over 25 years until her retirement in the early 1970’s.  Gloria enjoyed her retirement reading, cooking, spending time at their lake house and family time.  She is survived by; a son, David Hodge and wife Beverley of Hudson, FL; Diane Hodge of Independence, MO; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer L.
