Bernice Goff, 84, of Sugar Creek, MO passed away April 23, 2010 at The Groves Care Center. Bernice was born February 2, 1926 in Sugar Creek, MO to Andro and Sophia Manners. She graduated from Northeast High School and in 1990, she retired from Boatmen’s Bank after 35 years in bankings. She was an active member of St. Cyril’s Catholic Church, where she spent many years serving on the Altar Society. Bernice enjoyed golfing, bowling and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Goff; two sisters, Irene Manners, Margaret Belan; and three brothers, Tony, Andy and Mike Manners. Bernice is survived by three siblings, Mildred Manners, Thomas (Nancy) Manners, Frank (Carol) Manners; five nieces; three nephews; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27, at St. Cyril’s Parish, Sugar Creek, MO. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sugar Creek Heritage Center, 606 N. Sterling Ave., Sugar Creek, MO 64054
