Mary Good

Mary Ann Good, 99, of Independence, MO peacefully passed away Friday, March 4, 2011. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64052. Private inurnment at Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Rd. 2nd Floor, Bathesda, MD 20814 or the charity of your choice. Mary was born March 31, 1911 in Medoc, MO to George Peter and Laura B. (Workmon) Storm. She was united in marriage to Lawrence F. Good on October 19, 1941. Although they never had children of their own, Larry and Mary had many neighborhood children adopt them. Nieces and nephews spent many happy days with their Uncle Larry and Aunt Mary. She was a nurse in her career working at various hospitals throughout the country. Mrs. Good is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Lawrence F. Good, DVM; brothers Paul, Hubert, Wayne, Clayton; sisters Margaret and Ruby. The family would like to thank her many friends for their prayers and love for Aunt Mary.
