Helene Goodin

Helene P. Goodin, 92, formerly of Independence, MO passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Helene was born April 22, 1919 to Helena and Robert Stark, and lived nearly all her life in the Independence area. She survived the death of her late husband, Daniel E. Goodin in 1985, and her son Daniel E. Goodin, Jr. in 2000. Helene was a dedicated parent and grandparent, and a lifelong member of the RLDS church. She is survived by; her daughter, Ellen (Charles) Morris; granddaughter, Danielle Kaminski; great grandchildren, Christopher and Anna Kaminski; sister, Marian Ensign; sister-in-law, Bessie Stark and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Helene’s cremated remains have been buried with her husband at the Mound Grove Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m., until service time Monday at the chapel.
