Neomah Fern Goodrich, 85, of Kansas City, MO went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Cedar Valley Health Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will follow in the Calhoun Cemetery in Calhoun, MO. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m., until service time Saturday at the chapel. Neomah was born July 10, 1923 in Big Cabin, OK to Leonard and Lucy (Ballew) Dix. She had worked as an operator for Sears & Roebuck Company in Independence for 17 years before she retired. She had also worked for the aviation department of Federal Government during WWII. She enjoyed China painting and ceramics. She was a member of the Norfleet Baptist Church. She was married to Raymond Goodrich on May 19, 1990, he survives of the home. Other survivors include; a granddaughter, Amber Lynn Molloy of Mesa, AZ; a great grandson, Kyle Damon of Mesa, AZ; 2 sister-in-laws, Ruth Dix of Independence, MO and Geneva Dix-York of Tipton, MO; a brother-in-law, Norman Arnold of Marshall, MO and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by; her first husband, John Molloy, a son, Kenneth Molloy in 2008; 3 brothers, Albert Dix, Charles “Bill” Dix, and Ernest Dix; 2 sisters, Gladys Arnold and Dorothy Dix.
