Amy Virginia Gosney, 90, of Shawnee, KS, formerly of Independence, MO, passed away, Thursday, January 5, 2005 at her residence. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2006 at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Independence, MO. A reception will follow the services at the church. Donations may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church 409 N. Liberty Independence, MO 64050. Amy is survived by; a son Charles Vance Gosney of Overland Park, KS; 2 daughters, Patricia E. Burton and her husband Dr. Jerald of Shawnee, KS and Judith A. Haggard and her husband David of Kennett, MO; 4 grandchildren, Shelly R. Mumma, Amy Lynn Hibdon, Trent A. Haggard and Claire V. Zurek and 5 great grandchildren.
