Donald Roman Gosserand, Jr., 36, of Kansas City, MO passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 3736 S. Lee’s Summit Rd., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial in Missouri State Veteran’s Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. Roman was born March 7, 1974 in Kansas City, MO to Donald and Sandra (Hollenbeck) Gosserand. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Mr. Gosserand is survived by his daughter Morgan, son Tristan; mother Sandra Gosserand; father Donald “Buck” Gosserand; sister Joey Kemple and husband Lonnie; brother Joshua Gosserand; half-sisters Kris Thurston, Mary Lillian Gosserand; paternal grandmother Mary Gosserand; niece and nephews, Jake, Leah, Jonathan, Thomas and Jesse. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.
