Elaine Graham

Datha “Elaine” Graham, 56, of Buckner, MO, passed away, Sunday, December 27, 2009 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Burial will be in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the chapel. Donations may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association. Elaine was born October 20, 1953 in Independence, MO to Lloyd and Viloa (Houston) Thomas and has been a lifelong area resident, graduating from Fort Osage High School in 1972. She was a beloved wife, mother and homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Prior to that she had worked as a CNA for Independence Manor and Blue Springs Manor. She was married to Charley Graham on October 27, 1974; he survives of the home. Other survivors include; a daughter, Rachel Dollins and her husband Travis of Buckner, MO; a son, David Graham and his wife Crystal of Buckner, MO; a sister, Janice Jensen of Buckner, MO; a brother in law, Bill Bailey of Buckner, MO and 4 grandchildren, Riley, Allison, Owen and Ireland.
