Georgia Lee Graham, 87, of Independence, Mo, passed away, Saturday, February 19, 2005 at Medical Center of Independence. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. The family will greet friends from noon until service time Thursday at the chapel. Donations may be made to St. Marks Catholic Church. Georgia was born May 17, 1917 in Tripoli, Greece to James and Mary (Tangalos) Piper. She grew up in the Kansas City area and was a lifelong area resident. She had attended Kansas City Junior College. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mark�s Catholic Church and the Woman�s Civic Club of Independence. She was married to Clifford A. Graham on December 24, 1938; he preceded her in death on January 6, 2000. Survivors include; 2 daughters, Sylvia Bauman and her husband Delbert and Beverly Stone and her husband Donald all of Independence, MO; a sister, Tess Lambader of Platte City, MO; a brother, Chris Piper of Independence, MO; 6 grandchildren, Tamara Bauman, Del Bauman, Jr., Frank C. Bauman, Clifford W. Bauman, Sandra Roy and Angela Dornbrook; 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
