A visitation will be held for Margaret and Robert at Speaks Suburban Chapel on Monday from 6-8 p.m. with a Parish Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary�s Catholic Church in Independence. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be held for Margaret and her son, Robert on January 17, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Sabina in Belton, Missouri.
Margaret Mary "Maggie� (Beal) Grazda, 92, died January 4, 2007 at Monterey Park Nursing Center where she has made her home for the past year and a half. Margaret was born in Sugar Creek, Missouri on October 14, 1914 the daughter of John and Mary (Mikulai) Beal. She was a graduate of St. Mary�s High School. Maggie will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed working puzzles and playing Bingo. She was a member of St. Mary�s Catholic Church and the Catholic Slovak Ladies Association where she held the offices of chairman and Secretary/Treasurer. She worked on the election board and was a volunteer for the Food Pantry at St. Mary�s. Survivors include her children; Mike Grazda and wife Deborah of Lee�s Summit, Mo., Alexis Clayton of Oak Grove, Mo., Jim Beal and wife Carolyn of Trabuco Canyon, California, four granddaughters, Leslie Miller, Sara Werner, Lorraine and Catherine and her great grandchildren, Tyler and Stevi Kincaid and Trenton Werner. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary�s Food Pantry in her memory.
Robert E. Beal, 66, of Belton, Missouri died on January 4, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 16, 1940 the son of Margaret Mary Beal. Robert enjoyed sports and watching old movies. He was very devout in his faith and a member of St. Sabina Catholic Church in Belton. He is survived by one sister and two brothers mentioned above and by his dear friends Tom and Priscilla Moran of Belton, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Sabina Catholic Church.
