Beula Irene Green

Beula Green, 84 of Independence, MO passed away Friday, Dec. 16, 2005 at the Carmel Hills Living Center. Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Wed, Dec 21, 2005 at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, Tue, Dec. 20, 2005 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Indep. MO. In Lieu of Flowers, the family suggests contributions to the St. Jude�s Children�s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Mrs. Green was born on July 13, 1921 to Robert and Catherine Montgomery in Deepwater, MO. She married Charles W. "Bill� Green, Sr. on July 14, 1940. She shared over 50 years of Marriage with the love of her life. He preceded her in death in 1991. Beula was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved to spend time with her family. She was the best mother anyone could ask for and will always be remembered for her Christmas Cookies. Beula loved sports and was always there to support her children, no matter what sport they were involved in. She had been a member of Christ United Methodist Church for many years. Beula was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky in 1958. She is survived by her three sons, Chuck (Jan) Green of Kansas City, MO; Dan (Judy) Green of Blue Springs, MO and Paul (Sherrelyn) of Independence, MO. Grandchildren, Julie Green, Crissy Green, Chris Green, and Nathan Green. Step grandchildren, Rich Glossip, Russ Dunne and April Dunne and ten great grandchildren.
