Doniadean Maye “Donna” Greene

Doniadean Maye “Donna” Green, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022. She was 91 years of age.

Donna was born on July 3, 1931, in Massillon, Ohio. She married George R. Greene and from their union came two children.

Donna was extremely independent, she loved taking trips with her friends, going to the casinos, attending holiday gatherings, playing bingo and was very crafty, excelling in needle work and especially crocheting. She enjoyed volunteering at the Salvation Army and loved her family with all her heart. Donna will be extremely missed.
Donna is survived by her children, Deanna “Dee” (James Arnone) Crouch, Robert “Bob” Greene; grandchildren, Jeanna “Jean” (Anthony Green) Crouch, Hanna (Mark) Loew; great grandchildren, Edward Loew, Lillian Loew, and Natalie Loew. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Greene; grandson, Loyd Greene; and her parents.

A visitation and service will take place on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Carson Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64050. Family will greet guest between the hours of 1-2pm, with services to start at 2 pm. Donna will be laid to rest following the service at Mt. Washington Cemetery in Independence, MO.
