Lawrence Greenfield

Lawrence “Lee” Greenfield of Independence, MO passed away October 8, 2008, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 39th Street. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Independence. Lee was born March 7, 1966 and lived his entire life in Independence. He graduated from William Chrisman High School. Lee grew up at Maywood Baptist Church and was an Eagle Scout in Troop 226. He was a valued employee in the Deli Dept. at HyVee for many years. Lee enjoyed bowling, taking pictures, riding his bike, and grilling hot dogs for the neighborhood garage sales. Lee is survived by his mother, Louise Greenfield, his sister, Lori Greenfield, two nephews, Peter and Andrew Krause, special friends, Cristy Anderson and Leo Binninger, and by many caring friends and neighbors.
