Joyce Marie Griffith, 62, Belton, MO passed away Friday, May 8, 2009 at her home. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. Inurnment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM, Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
Joyce was born December 26, 1946 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Kenneth L. and Emma Juanita (Cline) Harter. She enjoyed crocheting, being a homemaker, and spending time with her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, and infant brother, Phillip.
Survivors include her daughter, Katrina Scalf; granddaughters, Tiffany Scalf, and Toni Bauman; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Kay Parker; three brothers, Richard Harter, Charles Harter and his wife Patricia, Jerry Harter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
