Deidra Diane was born in Ellsworth, Kansas October 22, 1957. She started her school career in a two room schoolhouse called Sunny Four. In 1980 she graduated from Research Nursing School as a registered nurse. As a nurse, she worked at Research Hospital, the Medical Center of Independence, and Bridger Middle School. The impact she had on patients, co-workers, and the kids are immeasurable, significant, and undeniable.
She married Mark Levi Hagan in 1985 and has three wonderful children, Claire Marie, Abigail Rose and Samuel Levi. She was raised by two loving parents to know and love her Lord Jesus Christ. As she grew in age, she grew in faith of her God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. She served Him all the days of her life, in ways that even she didn’t recognize. The patients, the kids, her co-workers, her church family, and her immediate family were all touched by the Christ because of the life she lived. The “little” light she had, she refused to hide it under a bushel.
