William Hall

William G. “Bud” Hall, 95, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Blue Hills Rest Home. A visitation will be from 10-12:00 PM Monday, August 9 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence with services to begin at 12:00 PM. Burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery. William was born November 19, 1914 to Charles and Ethel Mae (Hurst) Hall in Jackson County, MO. After graduation from High School, William graduated from Lathrop Trade School and then began working as a diesel specialist and later retired from Kaw Transport after more than 40 years of service. William was preceded in death by his wife Margie I. Hall, son William Lee Hall Sr., and seven sisters. He is survived by his son Chuck Hall; daughter-in-law Sally Hall; four grandchildren: Bill Hall Jr., Cindy Hepting, Jen Hall, and Kelly Turner; three great grandchildren: Carmen Hall, Matt Hepting, and Billy Hall; and sister Martha Mitchell.
