Oscar M. Hannaford, Jr. 91 of Independence, MO passed away, Sunday, August 31, 2008. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 4, 2008 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Donations may be made to the Children’s Mercy Hospital or to St. Mark’s Catholic Church.
