Anna Louise Harding, 65 of Kansas City, MO passed away, Friday, February 27, 2009 at her residence. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Wednesday at the chapel. Donations may be made to Kansas City Hospice. Anna was born December 12, 1943 in Kansas City, MO to Robson W. and Anna L. (Grabau) Harding and has been a lifelong area resident. She touched the lives of many as a schoolteacher and counselor for the Kansas City School District for over 35 years, teaching in Southeast, Manuel and Central high schools. She enjoyed knitting and was a cheerleader sponsor for many years. She graduated from East High School and received her BA from University of Missouri and her Master’s from UMKC. She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Gloner; a nephew, Robert A. Gloner; a niece, Catherine A. Gloner, and great nieces and nephews.
