Evelyn Brenda Harper, 84, Independence, MO formerly of Sumter, SC., passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at her daughter’s home.
Brenda was born June 16, 1928 in London, England the daughter of William George and Lucy (Thurlow) Willis. She retired as an administrative assistant with the U.S. Air Force, 9th Headquarters. Brenda enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her son, William Dean Harper in 2000; son-in-law, William M. Young in 2006 and her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Lucy Lee Young; grandchildren, William F. Young, and Audrey L. Humphreys; great grandson, William Stephen Young and family in England. No services are scheduled.
