John Jay Harris

John Jay Harris, 64, of Independence, MO, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Cremation is planned, private disposition will follow, at a later date. John graduated from the University of Missouri before becoming a computer programmer for Commerce Bank, where he worked for 15 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing and bow and rifle hunting. John was a great guy, great dad to son Chris, father to daughter, Joni Marie, and husband to wife, Tamra.
