Loretta Harrison

Loretta Joan “Jo” Harrison, 75, Independence, MO passed away Feb. 10, 2009. Services will be 10 am, Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm, Sunday at Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO.
Jo was born Sept. 30, 1933 on a farm near Hatfield, MO. where she was raised. She was the first-born of Carl & Lurene Waldron. She graduated from Martinsville, High School.
In 1951, Jo married Kenneth Leazenby and to this union twin sons Jacky Lee and Jerry Lynn were born. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter #329, the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post #21, and the Hatfield (MO) Assembly of God Church.
Jo was preceded in death by husbands Elmer Patrick and Sterling Larkin; son Jerry Leazenby; stepson Roy Larkin; grandson Eric Lee Laeaznby and granddaughter Lisa Anne Leazenby. She is survived by her husband of five years Teddie Harrison, of the home; son Jacky Leazenby; stepsons Jack S. Larkin, Independence, MO; David Patrick, Parkville, MO; stepdaughter Marcia Biggs; sister Mary Greene and her family from Springfield, MO.
