James Haston

James Christon “Chris” Haston, 53, Independence, MO passed away May 14 2009. Graveside services will be held at 11 am, Wed., May 20, 2009 at Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 6- 8 pm, Tuesday at Speaks Suburban Chapel.
Chris was born Dec. 24, 1955 in Norman, OK. He grew up in Independence and graduated from Truman H.S., attended CMSU and earned an Associates Degree from Longview Community College. He was a driver for UPS for thirty years. Chris loved the outdoors. He enjoyed boating, wave runners and combined his love of fishing and travel into fishing trips to places such as the Amazon and the Bahamas. He always made sure that everyone around him had fun and enjoyed life.
Chris is survived by his daughters Tricia Veuleman and husband Larry; Kimberlee Haston; parents Gene & Pat Haston; grandchildren Larry Lee & Aaliyah Veuleman; brother Don R. Haston, all of Independence, MO; sister Janna Sue Haston, Kansas City, MO; and brother Robert E. Haston and wife Kreatha, Satellite Beach, FL.
