Gary Lynn Hayes, 62, Independence, MO passed away Friday, March 22, 2013.
Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. 64052. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Gary was born February 26, 1951 in Kansas City, MO the son of Earl J. and Nadine (Stanback) Hayes. He was employed with Plastic Sales (ACI Plastics) since 1973. Gary was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say and the Fairmount Christian Church. He enjoyed bowling and was inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame in St. Louis with an 822 Series on August 3, 1995.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Hayes; daughters, Lori Lynch, Amanda Aviles and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Mycala Morgan, Breydon Lynch, Austin Hayes, Brianna and Carter Aviles; sister, Barbie Sterbenz and husband Alan; brothers, Randy Hayes and wife Trenna, and Earl Dean Hayes; and additional nieces, nephews, and family. Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
