Walter Hayes

Walter Wesley Hayes, 59 of Warrensburg, MO passed away, Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation is planned with a memorial gathering to be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Warrensburg Community Center 445 E. Gay St., Warrensburg, MO 64093. Walter was born December 15, 1952 in Kansas City, KS to George and Lois (Johnson) Hayes. He had worked as a mechanic most of his life before his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie of the home; 2 daughters, Dusty Hayes and her partner Kelly Franklin of Cushing, OK and Tessa Hayes of St. Joseph, MO; 3 sisters, Georgetta Gage of Independence, MO, Darlene Button of Kansas City, MO and Jackie Sims of Arma, KS; 2 grandchildren, Dylan and Elias; a step grandchild, Patricia and 3 step children, Stephanie Calhoun of North Kansas City, MO, Dennis Binder of Temecula, CA and Tonya Davis of Sedalia, MO.
