Nita Haynes

Nita Louise Haynes, 56 of Buckner, MO passed away Monday, January 25, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel 300 Adams St., Buckner, MO 64016. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Saturday at the chapel. Nita was born September 5, 1954 in Independence, MO to Robert R. and Mary L. (Dunham) Dowell and has been a lifelong are resident. She had formerly worked at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by; a son, Scott Haynes of Buckner, MO; 2 sisters, Martha Cobb (Jim) of Joliet, IL and Gloria Dowell of Independence, MO and 3 grandchildren, Dusty, Cori and Colton. She was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Dowell in 2005 and a brother, Larry Dowell in 1997.
