Donald Rea Heater, 73, formerly of Marshall, MO passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Oak Grove Nursing and Rehab Center. Cremation is planned with private family services; inurnment at Mound Grove Cemetery.
Donald was born October 10, 1935 in Independence, MO to Clarence and Bertha (Parker) Heater. He lived at the Arrow Manor I group home and loved painting at the workshop. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was actively involved with the Special Olympics playing baseball. Donald was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Patricia Joanne Heater. He is survived by his sister Carol Butler and a host of extended family and many friends.
