Steven Albert Heater, 57, Independence, MO passed away March 17, 2009. A graveside service for Steven and his brother, Lawrence Heater, who passed away Jan. 3, 2009 will be held at 1 pm, Monday, March 23, 2009 at Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Odyssey Hospice.
Steve was born June 2, 1951 in Independence to Glen & Catherine (Hamilton) Heater and was a life-long resident. He graduated from Truman High School in 1969. Over the years he had worked at Liberty Cycle, 7-11, in the electronics field and most recently Pizza Hut.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, sister Judy Johnson and brother Larry Heater. He is survived by brother Richard Heater and wife Nola, Independence, MO; and sister Glenda Myers, Cameron, MO.
