James Hegarty

James E. Hegarty, 76, of Independence, MO passed away on November 27, 2007. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial at Lee’s Summit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice. James was born December 4, 1930 in Mooney Creek, KS to Raymond and Lorena Hegarty. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Joyce Hegarty; one daughter, Vickie Schneider and husband Chris; three sons, Mickey Hegarty and wife Cindy, Pat Hegarty and Marge Huckabey, Bob Hegarty and wife Joyce; one sister, Mary Lou Vanwey; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
