Helen E. Vogel

Helen Elizabeth Vogel, born on October 26, 1938, died August 30, 2023, at the age of 84, of natural causes. Daughter of John and Hildred Vogel, she is preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Vogel, Jr. and her sister, Teresa Thurman.

Helen was the most generous person to help care for and help raise so many over her lifetime, from her parents to great nieces and nephews and children of her employer.  She was a faithful member of St. Regis Church.

She is survived by her sisters and brother and their families; Mary (Ken) Gray, Patty (Bill) Akers, Ralph (Patty) Vogel, Cynthia (Pat) Clifford and her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.

A visitation will be held, beginning with rosary at 10am on Tuesday, September 5^th with funeral mass following at 11:30am, both at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church; 8941 James A Reed Rd, Kansas City, MO 64138.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Raytown.
