Dorothy Mae Helton, 63, Independence, MO passed away Monday, July 12, 2010.
A Celebration of Dorothy’s Life will be at 2:00 PM Friday, July 16, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO Burial to follow at Swan Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Dorothy was born December 8, 1946 in Little Rock, AR the daughter of Arley and Lillie Joslin. She enjoyed going to the Riverboat Casino’s and loved spending time with her family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother; first husband, Robert Blevins, Sr and second husband Obie Helton; great grandchild; brother, Arlie Joslin.
Survivors include her sons, Robert Blevins and his wife Paula; Richie Helton and his wife Monica; father, Arley Joslin and his wife Maxine; grandchildren, Nicholas and Cody Blevins; Amanda and Alicia Helton; two great grandchildren; sister Anita Holt and companion, Don Lutjen.
