Ruth Henderson

Ruth E. Henderson, 96 of Grain Valley, MO passed away, Monday, October 8, 2012 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Ruth was born February 20, 1916 in Independence, MO to Joseph T. and Annetta (Coil) Peel and has been a lifelong area resident. She had worked as an inspector for Remington Arms for a number of years before she retired. She was a member of the RLDS Second Church. She enjoyed crocheting reading and watching soap operas. She was married to Harry Henderson, Sr who preceded her in death. Survivors include; a daughter, Ilene Miller of Grain Valley, MO; a son, Harry Henderson of Sugar Creek, MO; a sister, Dorothy Robinette of Sedalia, MO; 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda P. Rutledge in 2003.
