Ember Henry

Ember C. Henry, 86, of Blue Springs, MO passed away August 19, 2009. Ember was born on March 12, 1923, daughter of Ray and Blanche (McMillen) Tomlin in Mooresville, MO. On August 28, 1950, she married Randall Dale Henry. Ember was a member of the First Christian Church in Mooresville, MO. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Randall Dale Henry; four sisters, Phyllis Roberts, Mooresville, MO, Charlotte Whitworth, Belton, MO, Geraldine Baxter, Chillicothe, MO, and Rosemary Morgan, Breckenridge, MO; and one sister-in-law, Billie Tomlin, Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Leon Tomlin; and one sister, Shirley Darnel Ishmael. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, Mo. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, at Mooresville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pleasant View Christian Church, 19114 E.
