Linda Lee Hensley, 66, of Independence, MO was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, May 11, 2009 at Rosewood Health Care. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Linda was born May 13, 1942 in Roscoe, MO to Stewart “Cass” and Wilma (James) Burrow. She enjoyed gardening and quilting in her spare time and loved animals. Mrs. Hensley was a member of Crecent Creek Baptist church and most recently attended Bethel Baptist. Mrs. Hensley is survived by her husband of 48 years, Herbert “Austin” Hensley; daughters Sharon Jackson and husband Scot, Debra Heatwole and husband Larry; five grandsons; six brothers; five sisters; father Cass Burrow and his wife Doris; and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. Linda was preceded in death by her mother and one brother.
