Frances E. Hentges, 69, of Sibley, MO, passed away, Saturday, September 12, 2009 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the Church of The Santa Fe in Buckner, MO with cremation to follow. There will be a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the Speaks Suburban Chapel followed by visitation until 8:30 p.m. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Southern Care Hospice. Frances was born December 15, 1939 in Jefferson City, MO to Louis and Nadine (Schanuth) Schwartze. She had worked for a number of years as a cook for the Kross Lounge in Sugar creek and most recently as a counter for the Ameristar Casino. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and working outdoors. She was a member of the Church of Santa Fe in Buckner. She married Fred Hentges on June 4, 1960; He survives her of the home. Other survivors include; a son, Mike Hentges of Kansas City North, MO; 2 sisters, Armetta Hickman of Jefferson City, MO and Jen Sievers of Jackson, MO; 4 grandchildren, Don Sherman, Mikayla Hentges, Nikk Padget and Mindi King and 2 great grandchildren, Christopher and Alex King. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda K. Sherman in 1987 and 2 brothers, George Schwartze and Cletus Schwartze.
