Grace Lucinda Herbst, 96, of Independence passed away December 13, 2008 at the Golden Living Center.
Grace was born Oct. 14, 1912 in Flint, Michigan to William and Pearl Herbst. She was preceded in death by brothers Lewis and George and sisters Ruth and Lois.
Grace is survived by her sister-in-law, Clarice Herbst; nephews: Bill Coddington and wife Cathy, Tom Coddington and wife Tina, Jim Coddington and wife Barbara, Bill Herbst and wife Teresa, John Herbst and wife Barbara; and niece Ann Rideout and husband Steve.
A visitation will be from 2-2:30 PM Tuesday, Dec. 16 with services beginning at 2:30 PM at Speaks Suburban Chapel; burial at Mound Grove Cemetery.
