Julie Mable Herner

Julie Herner, 87, of Grain Valley, MO passed away on February 28, 2005 at her home. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, at St. Mark�s Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. following the visitation. Contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice or St. Mark�s Catholic Church. Julie, and her husband Tanny owned a drug store at 37th and Virginia for many years. They also owned "Tanny�s Continental� cleaners at 99th and Holmes. After retiring, they spent 15 years in Port St. Lucie, Florida before moving back to Grain Valley, MO. Julie is one of nine siblings, with only three surviving her. One brother and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Francis "Tanny� Herner. Julie is survived by her four daughters, Sandra McGinnis (Larry) of Grain Valley, MO, Maxine Sharpe (David) of Grain Valley, MO, Dodie Krambeck (Keith) of Overland Park, KS and Mary Beth Herner of San Jose, CA; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchilren.
