Samuel A. Hewitt, 83, of Kansas City, MO passed away Friday, October 28, 2011. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 31, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service starting at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow services. Samuel was born October 31, 1927 in Joplin, MO to Samuel and Dolly May (James) Hewitt. He is survived by his six daughters, three sons; many, many grandchildren.
