Emma E. Hill, 85, Independence, MO passed away Aug. 12, 2013. Services will be 10 am, Thursday, Aug. 15 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 am before the service at the chapel.
Emma was born Jan. 25, 1928 in Pocahontas, AR. She moved to Independence in 1951. She was a faithful member of the Northland Abundant Life Worship Center. She enjoyed reading, sewing and baking but most of all loved her family.
Emma was preceded in death by three brothers. She is survived by sons David Hill and wife Gertraud, Lee’s Summit, MO; John Hill and wife Joy, Gladstone, MO; sister Lorene Davis; brother Charles Krantz, both of Independence, MO; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
