Evelyn Hill

Evelyn I. Hill, 94, of Independence, MO passed away January 27, 2009. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Maywood Baptist Church. Evelyn was born April 12, 1914 in Kansas City, MO to George and Ethel (Marsh) Beck. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Burney Hill; one brother, Ted Beck; and grandson, Matt McKee. Evelyn is survived by her three children, Burney Lee Hill, Gloria Meadows and husband Raymond, Joy McKee and husband Dick; ten grandchildren, Kelly Hill and wife Cindy, Kirk Hill and wife Patricia, Mark Hill, Stephen Meadows and wife Becky, Nick Meadows and wife Patricia, Robin Loughmiller, Tom Loughmiller, Tracy McKee, Hilary Williams and husband Wes, Martha Hurst; twelve great grandchildren, Stacy Bayers and husband Mike, Mark Hill, Joe Lowder, Mandy Kelley and husband Ryan, Ryan Hill, Whitney Hill, Tommy Loughmiller and wife Carolann, Brooke Loughmiller, Adam Loughmiller, Madeline McKee, Allie Williams, Kaitlyn Williams; six great-great grandchildren, Victoria Kelley, Jaylon Taylor, Mariana Taylor, Meghan Bayers, Morgan Bayers and Kade Bayers; as well as her loving Pastor and church family at Maywood Baptist Church, where she was a member for over 80 years.
