Robert “Bob” Hill, 74 of Sugar Creek, MO passed away March 21, 2015. Visitation will be from 9-11am followed by Funeral Services at 11am Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Bob was born on June 9, 1940 in Adrain, MO. After the Army, Bob went to work at Lake City for a time until the opportunity came to work with his father. It was from that opportunity Bob spent the rest of his working career as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Local #101 International Union of Operating Engineers. Bob was also a member of NAWCC and past President of the Kansas City Chapter. Bob loved antique clocks, and he spent many hours repairing and teaching others about the fine art of clock repair. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob was a very outgoing man, who never met a stranger. Survivors include; his loving wife of 52 years Wanda Hill; Robert Hill, Jr (Wendy Watchus); daughter Melissa McLin; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sisters Melba Lackey and Sharon Weatherman; brothers Bill Hill and Craig Hill. Bob is preceded in death by his parents Floyd "Bud" Feris, Bill Hill, Nevolene Bredoehoft, and a sister Billie Tweedy. Memorial contributions may be made to Sugar Creek United Methodist Church in Bob’s memory.
