Joseph William Hollis

Joseph William Hollis, 61 of Independence, MO passed away Mon. May 21, 2007 at his home. A private inurnment will be held at a later date in Georgia. Mr. Hollis was born on Dec 10, 1946 to Thomas and Catherine Hollis in Muscogee County, GA. He was an All System Trainer with Sprint for the past 7 years. Joseph was a loving husband and father and grandfather who enjoyed baseball, golf and spending time with his family. He was a 1969 graduate of the University of Georgia and was a member of the 2nd Presbyterian Church in Kansas City, MO. Joseph is survived by his wife Charlotte Hart Hollis of the home; Five children, Jacqueline Hollis Barbour of Norman, OK, Jack Wayne Berry of Lansing, KS, Brent Lawrence Berry of Lexington, OK, PV2 Jessica Marie Berry and Jacob Paul Berry, both of the home. Three grandchildren, Patrick Barbour, Seth Barbour and Collin Barbour, all of Norman, OK.
