Ted Holt

Ted H. Holt, 75, of Independence, MO passed away Friday, April 4, 2008 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Burial in Edgerton Cemetery, in Edgerton, KS. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church. Ted was born November 10, 1932 in Paradise, MO to Andy H. and A. Kathryn (Dale) Holt. He graduated high school in Excelsior Springs, MO and attended William Jewell College in Liberty, MO. Mr. Holt worked for Zale’s and Eldridge Fine Jewelers before retiring after 45 years in the jewelry business. Ted was married to Hazel Graves in 1958 at East Minster Presbyterian Church in Kansas City, MO. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Hazel Holt; two brothers and one sister.
