Sheila Hong

Sheila Hong, 59, of Independence, MO passed away Friday, November 12, 2010 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fairmount Food Pantry Outreach, 800 S. Hardy, Independence, MO 64053. Sheila was born July 25, 1951. She is survived by her life partner James “Jay”Land; brother Michael Tavai; God Parents James and LaVerna Land; nieces, nephews; and by a host of extended family, and friends.
