Mabel E. Hooper, 80, Sugar Creek, MO passed away May 6, 2009.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, May 11, 2009 at Carson Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Hooper; 3 brothers, 2 sisters and her parents.
Survivors include her children, J.R. Hooper and his wife Harlene of Odessa; Cheryl Perrin and her husband Oher of Hawaii; and Roger Hooper and his wife Teresa of Independence; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters Annabel Foster, Elaine Ortle and numerous nieces and nephews.
