Hazel Hoover (Johnson)

Hazel Ann Hoover, 87, of Independence, MO, passed away on October 12, 2022, in her home. Hazel was born to Everett and Zulla Johnson on December 10, 1934, in Warsaw, Missouri. She had a love for quilting, crocheting, reading, and fishing. Through all of her hobbies and loves Hazel loved nothing more than her family. She worked for Meals on Wheels for years preparing meals and helping to give back.
Hazel is survived by her children; Edna (Gary) Weymouth, Donald Wilson, and Virgie Wilson, sister Charlotte McMorris-Mattison, 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, as well as many friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, children; Donna Sue Ward, Rose Perkins, and Linda Enloe, as well as daughter-in-law Penni.
A visitation will be held from 10-11am on October 22,2022 at Speaks Suburban Chapel with services beginning after at 11am. Burial will take place after services at Forest Hill Cemetery.
