Robert Allen "Robb" Horne

Robert Allen “Robb” Horne, of Buckner, MO passed away far too soon on Thursday, February 2, 2023. He was 67. A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Friday, February 17th, 2023, at Speaks Buckner Chapel.

Robb was born February 18, 1955, in Independence, MO to Robert Eugene and Betty Charlene (Hurt) Horne. He was a high school football and wrestling athlete before graduating from Ft. Osage High School in 1973. Robb went on to have a successful career as a truck driver for Ferguson Plumbing Supplies and retiring from Lake City Ammunition in 2016.

On March 12, 1976, he married his love and best friend, Ann Cartmill, and together made Buckner their home. Robb enjoyed fishing and chopping wood. He was strong-willed, opinionated and determined. Robb will be missed by his buddies, family and all who knew him.

Robb is survived by his beloved wife, Ann; his children, Elizabeth (Andrew) Person and Robert “Bobby” (Ann) Horne; granddaughters, Madison and Abigail; sister, Tina (Bill) Smith; and several cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.
