Valerie Horton

Valerie M. “Val” Horton, 47, of Kansas City, MO peacefully passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Research Medical Center. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Lane Avenue Baptist Church, 9003 E. 87th St., Raytown, MO 64138. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Val Horton Memorial Fund, c/o The Bridge Church, 18921 G East Valley View Pkwy, Independence, MO 64055 or the American Cancer Society. Cremation. Val was born June 24, 1963 in Leavenworth, KS to Mike and Connie (Edwinson) Horton. Miss Horton is survived by her siblings Mark Horton, Rick Horton, Doug Horton and wife Sherry, John Horton, Rita Horton and Dean Horton; and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Val was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother David.
