Audrie Mae Hough, 78, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Services at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, at the chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association. Audrie was born March 16, 1931, in Montrose, MO to Aaron and Pearl (Odle) Johnson. She was a 1949 graduate of Appleton City High School in Appleton City, MO. In 1994 she retired from Ozark National Life, where she had worked for 10 years. Audrie was also a faithful member of the United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother to her two daughters, Tammy Fuhrman and husband Jerry of Westland, MI, and Becky Lane and husband Terry of Blue Springs, MO; she had three adoring grandchildren, Jamie Dohlman of Kansas City, MO, Bobbi Jo Morgan of Blue Springs, MO and Joshua Fuhrman of Owings Mills, MD; two great grandsons, Brennan and Triston Dohlman; two dear sisters, Beulah Burrington of St. Cloud, MN and Martha Hibbs of Calhoun, MO; two loving brothers, Kenneth Johnson of Warrensburg, MO and Richard Johnson of Oak Grove, MO; brother-in-law, Melvin Jones of Kansas City, MO; and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed.
